I really enjoyed reading the second story of the series featuring Israel, an indentured boy in colonial Philadelphia. Israel chooses to do the right thing at great risk to himself, and what follows is a mystery adventure filled with twists and turns, and familiar characters from The Pinched Pinkney Plan. I recommend this well-researched book to youthful history buffs who have an interest in American Revolutionary times.
