As a child, Holly zoomed around her neighborhood on her bicycle, chasing evil-doers or running from them, and always rescuing someone in distress. At sixteen, she wrote and directed a Christmas play, transcribed the diaries of a great-great-great grandfather who served in the Civil War, and wrote her first novel. Whew! No wonder she didn't have any boyfriends.
She became a history and music teacher, host of a children's radio show, and with her husband, a Peace Corps volunteer in Romania.
Eventually, the bicycle became a pen, and today she writes historical mysteries so she can still chase after and run from evil-doers, rescue people in distress, and zoom around neighborhoods in the past.
Holly lives in rural Colorado, has lovely flower gardens, two grown kids, four kitties, and a flock of evil chickens who eat her flowers.
Suspected flower garden destroyer running away from the scene of the crime.
Please contact Holly if you recognize this chicken in your neighborhood.
